local and area recruits













UC first year coach Butch Jones got 21 recruits for the Bearcats. Seven of them locally including Fairfield safety Aaryn Chenault, Linebacker Soloman Tentman and safety Jorian Hudson from Roger Bacon, Lakota West lineman Kevin Schloemer, punter john Lloyd from CHCA, tight end Cory Keebler from Lakota East and kicker Tony Miliano from Elder.


Coach Mike Haywood and Miami signed up 23 recruits including Moeller offensive lineman Jeff Tanner along with offensive tackle Tyler Grubbs from Highlands.


Ohio State and Jim Tressel gets 18 signees including Anderson offensive tackle Andrew Norwell.


Kentucky and first year coach Jokey Phillips gets 20 recruits including Simon Kenton star runninback Miles Simpson, who rushed for over 2200 yards and 38 touchdowns last season along with Lakota West tight end Alex Smith.


New Louisville coach Charlie Strong nets Winton Woods quarterback Dominque Brown and linebacker Tyon Dixon from Colerain.


Indiana gets local recruits defensvie end Pete Bachman from Elder, Antonio Banks, a running back from Middletown,  cornerback Cameron Cole from La Salle and tight end Alex Welch from Elder.


Brian Kelly and Notre Dame picked up local recruits in WR Austin Collinsworth from Highlands, offensive lineman Matt James from Saint Xavier along with quarterbacks Luke Massa from Saint x and Moeller's Andrew Hendrix plus tight end Alex Welch from Elder.


Bowling Green's recruiting class of 2010 includes a total of 25 and four of those from the area. Middletown QB Caleb Watkins, WR Nick McKnight and safety James Gates goes to the Falcons. Defensive end Darius Gilbert from Hamilton goes to BG.  


Princeton running back Spencer Ware signed with LSU while DE Rashad Frazier from Middletown goes to Purdue.
